Date: August 28 – September 01, 2023

Place: Polytechnic University of Marche in Ancona, Italy

As a participant in the International Training Course for Energy Advisors at the Polytechnic University of Marche in Ancona I want to share my personal impressions and experiences from this important event. During the time of training, which included the period from August 28 until September 01, 2023, I had the opportunity to learn about the challenges of energy poverty in rural areas and the process of energy transition.

The meeting with young representatives from different countries who face similar challenges as young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina was extremely inspiring. Exchanging experiences and ideas with young colleagues from other countries was valuable, providing me with an insight into different strategies and practices in solving the problem of energy poverty.

The lectures given to us by the experts were informative and inspiring. Understanding the current situation in Europe regarding the energy transition, as well as possible solutions to the mentioned problems, was very useful for my further involvement in this field.

This training additionally confirmed the importance of providing support to young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina so that we all work together to solve the challenges of energy poverty and energy transition. I will try to pass on the knowledge gained and motivate others to engage in this important fight.

Overall, I am satisfied with the experience and content of the training. I believe that my participation in this training will contribute to a better understanding of the problem of energy poverty in Bosnia and Herzegovina and will help me to be more active in finding sustainable solutions for my country.
